MIDA band saws for log carriers are built from thick welded steel. The fly wheels are made of stabilized cast-iron, dynamically balanced and mounted on twin roller bearings of great charge capacity. Amongst other things, our band saws are equipped with:

 

• Electric guide adjusted from the control cabin of the log carrier
• Saw blade tension made hydraulically with direct indication of the tensioning force in Kgf and made stable by a system of dis springs.
• Device for adjusting the tilt on the top flywheel
• Pneumatic breaking of the bottom flywheel
• Automatic cleaning and lubricating (temporized) of the flywheels and the blade with gasoil
• Steel covers fro blade protection and top flywheel
• Driven infeed table (optional)
